The only known photo of the Inaugural "SIGMA PI Bag Derby," circa 1982, They are off in the Bag Derby...race was won by Dave Demers, "The Alaskan Fury," Dave returned $20.00 to win. David Street was second. The only reason that is known is that one person who bet on him at 46-1, his pledge father, almost had a heart attack when he made a big move on the turn. Dave was trained to victory by Frank Albanese.
